"DRIFTING / CURRENTS" was made during a week-long production session held on the Refute&Dispute Discord server. Initially titled "dewdrops," the track was shelved as a part of an instrumental album titled “CITRUS.” Tracks from the album had been sent out to multiple artists in order for there to be collaborative insight on the structure of the album. “dewdrops” was one of such tracks. After what was practically three months of radio silence on all communication related to this track, I decided to rebuild it as a low-fidelity, outsider house track instead, and a month into working on the track with Prithvi, Natascha sent in a voice message (well, it honestly was a couple of voice messages) which would change the course of the track.

“DRIFTING” is an upbeat, yet nostalgic house instrumental produced by pixl.& Prithvi Shetty featuring dialogue & vocal instances by singer-songwriter Natascha Mehra.
